On this post I want to introduce the scheldule of the program. We participate 5 days a week from Monday through Friday. It's designed 6-week program for 30 days as the actual number to take courses. It could have been for 5 weeks, but this month has holidays for Korean New Year's by lunar calendar, which makes one week's extension.
Everyday the class starts at 9 am and ends at 4 pm. Each day has three slots for one class. The class duration is 100 -minute long.
*Class 1: 9 am-10:40 am
20 minites break
*Class 2: 11 am - 12:40 pm
100 minutes for lunch break
*Class 3: 2 pm - 3:40 pm
By today it has been 9 days and everyone in the program has been barely digesting all the different dishes especially if your major background is not about linguistics or education. At least this time provides me with a review time that I learned from TESL in Korean about all general theories and methodologies, so I can comfirm my comprehension what I had learned before.
Sometimes I feel accomplishment when some familiar names of scholars appear in the textbook, and then I nod frequently agreeing with the professors's lectures or their real stories of experiences.
I leave home at 7:30 in the morning, which has never happened for a long time in Korea. Experiencing rush hours on transportation has treated quite well so far and it is like I live two-day long for one day:) Above all, I can fall asleep without too much thinking until I arrive at a dream.
Yes, I'm looking at all positive sides so far!
Next post will be about how far we have come.
